Straight Up Espresso - Whakatane

BEST cup of coffee in Whakatane! Simon is super friendly, knows all the customers by name and order and has a great sense of humour. You can even bring your own lunch to enjoy there! Highly recommended

Best coffee in Whakatane, from the guy that used to own The Bean down the road (when it was awesome). I hear he managed to get both joints in The Lonely Planet. Great music and atmosphere, and the staff are lovely. Excellent local vibe.

Great place. I'm a hot chocolate drinker and the hot chocolate here is amazeballs!! The place had regular foot traffic while we were there. The owner Simon is super friendly and welcoming.
