This is what an english cove should be. Fantastic! Recommended by the airbnb host I styaed with, this place is tucked away on Chisel Beach. It gets busy so booking is rec9mmended. It is certainly a bit spiy and saw dust, but thats part of the charm. I t was -3 when I visited ,bit in the warmer months there is a great outdoor seating area looking over the beach. The staff are great and the food was superb and really good value for money. The slow cooked chilli had enough kick for you to know it was a chilli (which is novel as most establishments shy away from any heat) and talking to the staff, the chef is more than happy to spice things up if you ask. First class!

Had a meal for partners birthday. Excellent well cooked food and attentive service. Cosy with a real fire. Good choice of beers. The views of the beach from the front are spectacular whatever the weather.
