Bidrage med feedbackThis is Wexford's hidden jewel for amazing food, beer and cocktails. Their sandwiches, soups, stew etc. are from the chain and creative. Overall, the entire menu is quite solid: the signature sandwiches, salads and packs are all great. If you're looking for a 'special of the day', then don't look further than Poor Richards. Follow them on Facebook and you'll see what I'm talking about. Would you like to play a slap contest with your favorite politician? Love the whole crew, but she hates Brad, Connie, Adam, Kara and Geoff, who really make this place special.
Nice little sports bar pub. Very friendly staff and good service. Could use a little sound proofing if they have loud customers. The food was great, they even smoke some of their own meat.
Very friendly staff that really seem to work with each other. Ask for recommendations for wing sauce if you want to immerse your chips. Salad dresses are made in the house. Special and soup of the day often change. There is a covered outdoor area with terrace heating. Not sure if pet-friendly. Easily confusing the first time to find the parking lot, but remember it is behind the restaurant and there are signs that you can spot for the restaurant. Oh and an internet jukebox.
Has even to post because I like that PRP is a best kept secret. But it's too good not to share. The people who own/run it were in the game and know what they are doing here. You're on. The food is excellent, elevated - but familiar - bar food. The staff is excellent and the mood is cozy and cool. Never had a bad meal or experience in the pub. Really a jewel in a sea of terrible North Hill chains restaurants.
Recently visited with my sister. We both ordered the fish sandwich and It was excellent. Food was hot and good and you can tell it was made fresh. The bartender was friendly and so was the wait staff. We will definitely return!
