Bidrage med feedbackI admit that we were going during the last days. eating was great! but the service was bad and that gives them wide. two hostesses: dark haired girl but she worked off; blond, not so much. we asked for a high table and was said: "oh they can just go there." we didn't even get menus. we saw her standing there without lifting a finger until her friends came in. a lot of training is necessary. josh was an excellent guy!
They had very special burgers, so we decided to get both. they were absolutely delicious. wine Wednesday offers a good selection of bottles halfway. they also have a dj on Wednesday evenings, so it was quite loud there. if they want a less loud atmosphere, I would suggest another day.
We had reservations and sat immediately, but it took ten minutes for our waitress to order our drinks and then another ten before they came back with them (four sprite and a water). also our food took too long to get out and was then delivered cold. my middle steak was overdue and disappointing.
This used to be a nice restaurant for dates and friends. Now that they've opened it up, the noise level is just insane and it's hard to hear yourself think. I guess they're going for more of a sports bar vibe, but the noise level even at the tables is far too high for conversation.
We went in to see Doug Edgel play music and had dinner. Maggie was a great server as usual. Erika always makes us feel so welcome as GM. The Filet was delicious and the Sweet Potato was perfectly cooked. I tried the lobster bisque tonight and found it great. They often have interesting soups. This place is a neighborhood treasure. I bought 1300 in gift cards for clients over the holidays and I am glad I did it!
