Dragon Heen - Wexford

Not good, rather poor. Somewhat overpriced. Plus my advice to you is to be VERY aware of their prices and what you will actually get for your money. Our experience began when they no longer had the wine I requested (small menu). We have a more expensive one (not on the menu). Our second choice was exactly the same. No apology or willingness to make an allowance, simply an aggressive attitude regarding which wine we wanted. I would have normally left at this juncture simply due to the attitude, but I was with family. Opted for a two course offering. Not particularly good value. Meat spring rolls selected as a starter which arrived as vegetable rolls. Stuck with it, but average at best, straight from a packet. Main course of beef was chosen along with noodles at £3. No, they are more expensive than advertised (see a theme here). Beef was tough but an OK sauce. My wife enjoyed her meal, but agreed the aggressive and loud attitude was not conducive to a pleasant meal whatsoever. Suffice to say there will be no revisit and be VERY aware if you decide to try.

We had a lovely meal at this restaurant. The staff were friendly, it was very clean (especially the toilets! and we enjoyed our meals. There was a good selection and it tasted fresh. Only drawbacks were the minor issue that the waitress set our cutlery down in a pile on the table, rather than setting our places, and the price. Main courses were priced from €17 upwards, but the children's menu was too expensive at €13.90.

Really the quality of the food is erratic at best, also the lack of courteousness, poor customer service, some serious egos and attitudes to behold.. It's a real shame as I've eaten here a number of times with the family but something has change and NOT for the better. You have also lost a very loyal customer, carry on like this and you'll be out of business.. A real real shame indeed...

Greeted at the door by a lovely girl, we were shown to our table and were promptly brought over menus. After taking our order the drinks arrived to the table within minutes. We both ordered from the early bird menu and definitely got our moneys worth. The staff were professional and friendly, overall we left the restaurant happy.

Food disgusting,definetly reheated or out of date I'd guess. Wouldn't feed it to a stray dog! Spent 3 hours in pain on the toilet after I came home and was backfiring for days like an old Cortina. Staff spoke in a language unheard to any human being. A night to forget.
