Red Lobster Wethersfield

Overall, our experience was okay. We made a reservation online, but were told upon arrival that it wasn't a true reservation, which was fine. We were informed of a 20 minute wait for our party of two, but an hour later we were still waiting, while others who arrived after us were seated. The restaurant was not busy, so we were confused as to why we couldn't be seated promptly. The staff were rude when we inquired about our wait time. Our server was friendly, but not very attentive. On a positive note, the food arrived quickly.

It took over an hour for our food to be ready, and some of it was burnt from being left under heat for too long.

I ordered Shrimp Grits, but unfortunately, the kitchen ran out of grits and substituted rice instead. The shrimp were overcooked and burnt. The service was slow, most likely due to understaffing, but the server tried her best and was courteous. The music was too loud, making it hard to have a conversation.

Online reservations wasn't available. Still had to wait 2 hrs for a table

Our waitress was attentive and did her job very well. Our food came out hot and was just exactly what we wanted. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.
