Penrith Seafood - WETHERILL PARK

Seafood was great cooked octopus, mudcrab, fresh oysters. Even found stock fish. Staff were lovely. Will return.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this restaurant! Although I do not live in the area, I am grateful for the recommendation to dine here. I ordered the fisherman's basket for two, and it exceeded my expectations. The staff was very knowledgeable about the menu items I inquired about. I hope to return soon to try the Kina! I have been a customer of this restaurant for 12 years, so I can confidently say to those with only 1 or 2 reviews leaving negative feedback: this place has been open since 1976, and it wouldn't have been successful or last in the business if they were mediocre. Whenever I am in the area, I always stop by for a quick snack, and my favorite dish is the calamari rings.

I bought a kilo of fresh Ling fish today and had it cooked at the shop. It was grilled and seasoned. A new seasoning was used. The fish was so tender it fell apart in our mouths. And the new seasoning was just great. I rang the shop to compliment the Chef, Kosta, who cooked it, who told me he was also the Manager since the last three months.

In general, our experience was quite positive. We ordered the grilled barramundi, chips, and salad, as well as the fried fish, chips, and salad. The prices for the fish, salad items, and chips were reasonable, especially considering they have increased. The only drawback was that we had to wait over 45 minutes for our meals.
