Mezza Westwood

It was a very relaxed dinner. I never should have ordered eggplant parmigiana. It had way too much sauce and too much cheese. It wasn’t served hot so the cheese was a little chewy. I was told to order lemon chicken. Maybe next time.

Wonderful dinner with old friends. Mezza was quiet enough so we could catch up but not so quiet that everyone heard our conversation. Everyone enjoyed their food. Israeli Salad and Pear Salad were fresh and delicious. Tabbouleh was excellent, nice surprise of pomegranate! shrimp ricotta gnocchi, pappardelle, and Moroccan chicken tanjine were nicely presented and large enough for sharing. Too full for dessert. Disappointed that we didn't know it was BYOB. Lovely restaurant with outdoor seating!

Wonderful menu that is well executed. Service is very good, and efficient while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. Never felt rushed or neglected. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers very much and the main courses were all wonderful. Low point was coffee at end of meal was lukewarm.

Our server Ricky was friendly and informative and the halibut special was delicious! We always enjoy our dinners at Mezza.

Great experience. Seems like food, presentation and service have improved since our last time (April) at Mezza. Very accommodating and knowledgeable about gluten/celiacs restrictions.
