Bidrage med feedbackStopped there for lunch. Typical sports themed bar. My daughter had the poutine, which was good. The fries were soggy due to the gravy--not sure if that's normal. I had never ordered poutine before. I shared a grilled flatbread with goat cheese and roasted tomatoes with my sister-in-law. It was delicious! The server was great.
We stopped here for a cool drink during a long hot walk and when a thunderstorm hit we stayed. We were served by the lovely Annie who was efficient and friendly. A nice selection of beers and wines were on offer and for sports fans there were huge TV screens.
We visited twice. The first time we sat at the bar and had great service from a friendly server. We enjoyed the self serve popcorn and the conversation. Based on that experience, this would be a four. The next night we went to a table for dinner. Based on that experience it is a three. Our server was brain dead. Service was slow. The food, a burger and fries and a Greek Salad, was terrific.
La Cage is right beside the condo we had and we lucked out!! There was a big hockey play off game on....the place was packed and we had no reservation yet they still accommodated us so well! Add to that it was 1/2 price wings and I always do pint and a pound at sports themed places. EXCELLENT wings, EXCELLENT cold draft, EXCELLENT salads and EXCELLENT EXCELLENT service!! Wow!!
Was in Montreal for the Canadian F1 and decided to eat here. We were shown to a table inside which was drab and dull with no atmosphere so relocated to the outside balcony with a view of the street. This was perfect as the atmosphere during the F1 was electric! Service was ok but food was excellent (apart from the fries, which were soggy and lacking substance and taste). Good choice of beers and overall the price wasn't bad. Will return if ever in Montreal
