Bidrage med feedbackWe went for steaks instead of for the other options as they were considered very good beef. The steaks were indeed good, tender and tasty, and the dessert was also good. The wine options are expensive, and the proposed Californian does not meet the steaks again. It wasn't too crowded while we were there, so we could have a conversation, but it could be difficult if we were busy. For the steaks, you can better, cheaper options elsewhere, but they also have other articles, and I will not write them out without trying them, it will be worth going back.
Three adults were at dinner. The premises are well designed and beautifully furnished and although the restaurant was full, the noise level was appropriate. Our waiter was nice, but seemed unparticipated and unattended, He took an inordinated time to come... Visit us and never came to see us during the meal to ask if everything was good or not. My companions ordered oysters great special and sweet potatoes. The oysters were good, the pommes were moderate. I ordered Clam Chowder, a Caesar salad and a Sirloin steak and shrimp. The soup was excellent. The salad was a salad wedge with dressing that I thoroughly enjoyed, or was very refreshing. Unfortunately, the steak I rarely ordered was overdue. As for shrimps, they were DOA. I also had difficulty cutting them until I realized they were connected to two spikes that were not obvious. All in all an inoffensive restaurant.
I recently dined at Lucille's Brasserie on February 10th. Our server, Megan, was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the Aubergines Parmesan and was disappointed to find that it was burnt and lacked the taste of Parmesan cheese. The portion size of a quarter of an eggplant deep-roasted with ricotta cheese and tomato sauce for $26 seemed excessive. Additionally, I found it inappropriate that the restaurant marked up a dish that could have cost around $2.15. I also ordered a $15 glass of red wine, which was poured at less than half the glass. Despite these shortcomings, the ambiance of the restaurant was lovely.
This restaurant used to be one of our favorites. Two of our four meals were terrible and service was not existent. There were very little staff and never came by to check things. Every time we needed something, we had to slag them down. Food fair, Service poor!!
First time visit, enjoyed the food. Nice selection on the menu. Cocktail menu rather short. Service was ok, not on par with the food. One or two mixups, but not enough to affect the overall experience. Steak and beef rib perfectly cooked. Seafood also very...well done. Worth trying.
