Bidrage med feedbackWe arrived towards the end of the dinner rush and waited for about ten minutes even though we had a reservation. We were seated at literally the noisiest, busiest table in the restaurant directly across from the wait staff’s service area. There were other tables and booths available and we were surprised to be seated at that table. despite being literally in the sight and path of every server in the restaurant, it took 9 minutes from when we were seated for anyone to bring water and take a drink order. Luckily, the rest of the service went well. The food is always good here and the portions are substantial. Salads could be split between two people. The bruschetta is our favorite appetizer with crispy bread covered in Lucious chopped tomato and cheese. Partner had bolognese and it was redolent with lots of meat and cheese. I had the Marsala with a small side of spaghetti and crunchy broccolini. For dessert, the gelato was very smooth and rich and the cannoli was giant. Wine selection is good and the bar makes several speciality cocktails worth trying.
We love this restaurant but had the worst service during our last visit. Our waiter never brought me the drink I ordered and after the food was delivered he promised to bring us parmesan, however by the time it was given to us our food was cold. Furthermore, he never came to take our bill so I had to go take it to the front myself.
Server gave us our final bill we were getting ready to leave, our server then came back with a different bill because he had made a mistake. We had to re do all the billing. Slow service, forgotten drink re fills, and soggy English muffins. Disappointed today.
Asked for a shared plate. It would be nice if the kitchen split the dish rather than us having to at the table.
