Bidrage med feedbackI wasn't in town when they had their grand opening. I heard enough buzz for me to try this place out. For those who don't know, Lairai in Vietnamese means to slowly enjoy food and drinks with friends! Neat right?Lairai serves up Vietnamese tapas! I ordered their salted eggs chicken wings, crab soup, and grilled octopus. The star dish of lairai is actually their crab, but that is something I would have to get next time since there person I came here with is vegetarian :P The salted egg chicken wings were delicious! Savory and slightly sweet. Grilled octopus paired with spicy kimchi was a good pair great texture with a kick of smoky and spicy with the kimchi. The soup was a great dish to end the night since it was fairly cold on NYE.I do recommend everyone to come here and try it out. The restaurant is small, but cozy. Vinyl records scattered across the ceiling. Definitely has a nice vintage retro feel
Went there to order the soup. Out. Herbal tea...it's out. What do you have here to sell? No wonder it closed now.
Came here on late night of Saturday because they have crab soup with pig brain and i'm a huge fan of pig brain. When we came in around 11pm, the store was empty, but shortly after our arrivals there were a bunch of other customers came in to order food to go. The soup was good, a bit bland but came with lots of seafood. I think the price was very fair for a huge portion. They have other items in the menu that I would love to try but somehow is currently temporarily closed. Hopefully they open before August!
It was okay but a little disorganized as they got my orders wrong (got the pig's brain soup instead of the grilled fish). I'm not sure if they changed their Cambodia beef because what I got were not slices of beef but ground beef sausage. I liked their salted egg wings but I do not think I will go back for anything else. Maybe in the future I would give it another shot and then revise this review.
