JD's Roadhouse Cafe - Westlock

I am visiting the area seeing family for 11 days. When they are working I am enjoying walks around the area and used JD Roadhouse as stop off refreshment. While a trucker style cafe, Omar is a welcoming and pragmatic host. I was there for Brunch most days and the service was swift, efficient and tasty. The coffee is good. It is worth a visit and certainly affordable.

Fantastic meals, the owner Omar is so friendly! I visit here at least weekly, and am never disappointed. Have never been discriminated against, always service with a smile. The owner knows most of his customers by name, and knows everyones usual . Keep up the great work Omar!

0 star review if could …..He denies paying customers and tells them to leave, due to discrimination of a handicapped child and his 15 lb fully trained service dog. Saying he doesn’t want the dog in the restaurant (which is a federal offence) and that it’s private property and to go. My son cried and felt very hurt by this as he couldn’t understand as he has autism. Super rude guy and the place is a dive! Save ur money and support a different local Bussiness that deserves it.

This is a great restaurant for Breakfast and Lunch. I travel all over Canada and abroad ,have become fussy in what a good place to eat should be. The owner takes pride in his business and of food he serves . You will not be disappointed !

Nothing fancy in the decor (family type cafe/diner) but definitely a great place for a home cooked type of meal. Great value as well as absolutely delicious you'll clean your plate off. Omar makes the best Eggs Benedict I've ever had. I've eaten there many times and I can confidently say that you'll be more than satisfied with your breakfast or lunch.
