White Oaks Restaurant - Westlake

What a wonderful place full of so much history. The dinner was perfect and so delicious.

Cool place but the food was under-seasoned and the wait staff was average.

First time thete. What a fantastic meal, Beef Wellington, that I had! I believe Jack was our server and did unbelievable job! The atmosphere was very plead and comfortable. I will return in the future.

We were there last night (Monday, 12/11/23) with a party of 12. I realize this was a large party but the Resturant was not that full, probably not even 50% capacity. The atmosphere was wonderful, the meal, not so much. We were there 2 hours before we had to approach the waitress about our salads as they had not been served yet. It was probably almost another 30 min at least before our food finally arrived. I know my daughters food was cold. My husbands steak was pretty rare which is not how he ordered it. And the potatoes are so small and served with underwhelming vegetables. For a $50 steak we were expecting a bit more for his sides. I had the lobster bisque and a side of lobster tail which was fablous. In general it was not a positive experience and was disappointing and I would not return which is too bad because it’s such a great environment.

Nice place. 3rd time there. 2nd time at Christmas. Nice atmosphere. Nice staff. Cottage cheese and doilies are bit weird to serve while waiting for the food. Other than that pretty nice.
