Kromrivier Cederberg Park

It's all a bit flashy and commercial, set in the wilderness, and the smell of fried food permeates the place. It was irritating that the menu prices are incorrect, which one only discovers the bill comes!!

Absolutely fabulous! Attention to detail, friendly staff, tranquility, bliss, value for money, personal touch, everything you want, we had the best weekend at Kromrivier…highly commended… Thank you so much to all of you for perfecting a home away from home even better!

We have stayed here summer winter for over 30 years, and watched the resort's development from historic farm campsite with rustic mountain huts supported by a farm shop providing basic supplies and hearty home baked corn bread to a high class ecologically responsible mountain resort with luxury mountain lodges, a high class restaurant (with a river literally running through it) shop serving top quality cuisine, local produce, in house wine and even farm brewed craft ales. Awesome oasis in the Cederberg! Friendly people, good food. Tame birds which poach your food if you aren't careful! Be warned!
