The Space At Westbury

Fantastic evening at Aimee Mann. The sound was excellent clear and well balanced. Every one of the staff was helpful and super friendly. In fact, at one point near the end of the show, someone decided to stand at the front railing of the balcony, blocking everyone's view of the stage in our section. Just as I started to get irritated, a staff member walked up to her and apparently told her she could go back to her seat or go down to the floor. I really appreciated that the staff was paying attention. We got there early and found parking on the street, so that wasn't the issue I thought it might be either. I've been to a show at the Paramount in Huntington and parking was a complete nightmare.If you're looking at the seating chart, one thing to note is that the single letter seats on either side in the balcony are sofa style and super comfortable. The double letter rows in between are chairs. The balcony is pretty far away from the stage, as there is a large floor section and mezzanine in between.

I would love to give this place a better rating, but...On a recent trip we saw Aimee Mann, FANTASTIC show, spoiled to some extent by the fact that the venue had at least half of the space set aside for on-floor viewing (ie. standing Not really suited to an Aimee Mann crowd. My seats were great, but between the band and the seated crowd there was an awkward amount of unused floor... looked a little like a middle school dance.I was also a little bummed that the website did not plug many (any? of the local restaurants. I suppose that the Olive Garden, et al, pays for mentions, but we ate at a great family owned Pizza place between the LIRR station and the theatre.

Great little venue for a show...nice intimate atmosphere for concerts

One of the worst venues I’ve been to. Poor sound quality, poor floor management, seats getting pushed around because of crowd pressure.

Went here for a small scale but very exciting regional martial arts sporting event. My team had a clean sweep on the fight card. The Westbury theater is older, but The Space area within it is renovated and seemed easy to navigate. I sat in the temporary floor seating area, but there was also mezzanine seating. They have a bar for drinks. Bathrooms and locker areas are on the lower level.
