Le Gourmand - West Toronto

I have been aware of this restaurant for some time and I always return because of their fantastic drinks, delicious pastries, and incredibly soft cookies. On my most recent visit, I tried the dark hot chocolate and a chocolate croissant. I will definitely be back for more tasty snacks. However, I believe the interior could use some improvement as it doesn't seem very comfortable.

This restaurant is a great spot for a fast and delicious brunch. The sandwiches are tasty and reasonably priced for the generous portions they offer. The cookies are also a standout item on the menu.

This review is strictly about the cookie that everyone talks about.It was incredibly underwhelming and forgettable. The texture was what I like to see in a cookie; crunchy outside and gooey inside. The flavour just wasn’t there. The cookie is actually a 3 star for me but it feels rude to rate the whole establishment a 3 based off a cookie lol

Went with very high expectations, food was very average and options to choose from were very limited. The service and feel of the cafe was great though. Highlight of my visit was def the chocolate chip cookie.

Their cookies are great, I would give those a 6/5 stars. But I had their quiche and it was okay, nothing extraordinary. Their coffee is really good, so I would say that they are a great cafe and pastry shop, and a pretty decent breakfast place.
