Sofia Italian Steakhouse - WEST ROXBURY

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I had anticipated a special occasion atmosphere in the upstairs seating area, but instead, it was loud and felt more like a sports bar. The food was also a letdown. The steak was awful, the pasta was bland, and the potatoes were undercooked.

The food did not meet our expectations this time. The steak was tough to chew and the waiter mistakenly gave us the wrong bill.

Our vegan friends from the city, who also eat fish, joined us for dinner at this restaurant. The menu had great options and we were seated right away without a wait. The restaurant wasn't too crowded and the food and drinks were excellent. Our server was fantastic and the atmosphere was beautiful. Our friends from out of town loved the ambiance so much that they took too many pictures. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience and we are thankful for it.

Great food: We had the halibut and the 10 0z. filet with an app of lollipop lambchops which was excellent! Alana was a terrific waitress as well! Art

Very consistent good food. Loved the tagliatelle marsala.
