Outram Cafe - West Perth

The first time I went to the Outram Cafe, the coffee was decent, and the service was excellent, which made up for an ordinary coffee. The second time, it was ordinary on both counts, and on the third and final, it was terrible service, bitter coffee and totally over priced. The cheap pod coffee machine at work tastes better than the coffee here.

This is close to the hotel we were staying in during our visit to Perth Menu for breakfast is extensive and interesting - everything cooked to order Food is good, and I would recommend the omelette comes with toast etc

Went here to get a quick take away coffee. (1 latte and 1 cappuccino cost $9.50 )and have not been more dissatisfied before this place. This place is an embarrassment to be seen to enter.First of all the menu is placed at the registers- but be careful because this is DINE IN ONLY prices.So if you dine in, 2 coffees are $1 less than take away! The other thing is they don't serve takeaway coffees in a small-even when asked! You get a regular (medium) size! I even stated I don't like too much milk and it's get what you're given attitude.We ended up tipping the coffees out. They both tasted like vending machine coffee. Watery and tasteless. The manager/owner (I assumed) was brazen and rude.On another note- a waitress was picking up a carrot cake for a patron, and before she could put it on the plate-it crumbled like a biscuit. She stated "it's dry" to who seemed like the manager/owner, and her response was "that's why they are $4"!!Total rip off, absolutely ridiculous and won't be going back.

Have a great breakfast of Eggs Benny with smashed avocado and homemade hollandaise - delivered very quickly and it was perfect. Then wiled away some time before a meeting with a very nice latte. Service was great and you didn't feel like you were being hurried out in any way.Also a good sign was all the local workers getting takeaways on their way to the office - staff knew them by name and had a great rapport.

I found the Outram on TripAdvisor before leaving the hotel and found it easily... tasty vegetable juice.. eggs bacon and avocado with capacino ... the service was fantastic and food quickly delivered... I sat outside under cover and watched the world go by..
