It must go again... a good value for money and tranquility.
Always consider trying here the portions are definately good if you are hungry, whether you are a golfer or a traveller.
After three phone calls with hotel management, we were assured that a Sunday roast could be enjoyed at the Terrace restaurant. A table for 7 was booked and confirmed. However, upon arrival, we found the restaurant set up for a wedding ceremony with no other dining tables in sight. When we questioned the bar staff, we were rudely dismissed. Thankfully, a deputy manager eventually arranged a dining table for us in the midst of the wedding guests. We explored other local options but couldn't find a suitable alternative within our timeframe. Unfortunately, we ended up having our Sunday lunch in a crowded golf club bar surrounded by wedding guests. The food seemed to have been reheated from the freezer and left much to be desired. We recommend that the front of house management receive training in coordination and courtesy towards guests, as well as improving the quality of service provided by the bar staff.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic, the staff are friendly, and the hotel is top-notch. Although the beer is a bit pricey, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be coming back. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Our weekend golf break for 32 people was a great challenge for players of all levels. The hotel rooms were luxurious and well-equipped. The Pro shop staff were helpful, and the food for dinner and lunch was excellent, as was the service. Unfortunately, breakfast was lacking in quality. Despite this, we would consider returning to this restaurant but would skip the breakfast.
