Bidrage med feedbackWorst food ever the food is old I would not eat there if I was you good luck
No healthy options. No bottle recycling or any indication of sustainability. Not a great example to be setting for kids.
We've been coming to TBZ for years and when the Savanna Cafe was updated it went from OK to just plain awful. First, the cost of the food is here is Disney like, but the quality is no where close. The burgers and pizzas and other adult foods are OK at best. The kids food tastes like it came from a frozen bag at a wholesale store but uncharged 500 . Second, the majority of the seating is upstairs you have the choices of stairs or an elevator that a sloth will complain is slow. Since the majority of people here have kids and strollers that means there is always a wait at the elevator. After we ate my wife and I decided that carrying the stroller down the stairs was a better idea. Third, even though they had the firesight to put bathrooms upstairs, they didn't put any of the condiments, cutlery and napkins upstairs, which means parents were running downstairs to get their supplies, back upstairs, realizing they forgot something, and repeat. Towards the end I think I grabbed enough napkins for small army because I was done running up and down the stairs every time a kid made a mess. Turtle Back Zoo is hands down one of the best zoos around. An essential part of my kids summer activities. But pack your own lunch and eat in the picnic area!
The pizza restaurant is closed and only offers sandwiches and fries. However, the café serves coffee and has a bakery with reasonable prices.
We ordered the Big Cat Combo, which includes a choice of either a cheeseburger, veggie burger, or grilled chicken, along with a side of fries and a drink. The fries were deliciously crispy and perfectly seasoned with salt. However, the cheeseburger was a bit dry; my sister and I only managed to eat it because we were quite hungry. We rated it a 5 out of 10. My mother, on the other hand, gave the grilled chicken a 7 out of 10.
