Bidrage med feedbackOn the way to Dallas for breakfast. found this place on Google. It was one of the best suggestions I ever got. The place was small and cozy, but the food was bold and tasty. I had a shrimp and alligator omelett, and I tell you it was delicious. Grits were creamy and tasty. Cleanliness was wonderful. My sister had a British omelet that was from this world, and the potatoes were pure perdection. You won't regret it.
Traditional diner with a great atmosphere and a good hearty breakfast. Here you will find friendly service in a place where many people know each other. A group of ladies could study a Bible and at the next table a young father might share a meal with his toddler. Some old men in jumpsuits and cowboy hats get started the day and share stories from a long time ago. A humble traveler probably sits somewhere solo enjoying their first meal after they see the reviews and decide to see what it was about. Over as south and as American as possible. Piping is called communal coffee and good omelet. Put this on your list. Oh, and they sell cake.
My friend brought me here while we visited, and it was SO GOOD! I can't expect to come back and try some of the other dishes. I had the fried catfish that came with two sides, a selection of bread and a dessert. It was SO GOOD! And I'm not a light eater, but I ate half of it and was full. I ate the rest of the fried green beans while I waited for my plane an hour later, and they were still delicious! My mouth only irrigates all southern treats on the menu!
If I were a local, I'd eat here. Price is reasonable, for 10 dollars a good meal. I forgot to take a picture of my plate, so I have to go back. Next time early enough for breakfast.
It was packed when we get there around 9am for breakfast, so we waited a bit longer for our food to be served. Staff were nice and very accommodating. Me and my friend enjoyed our meal. Food’s great! Tried out their lunch, it was pretty good as well.
