Bidrage med feedbackThe food was amazing and the employees were so kind. If we ever pass through again this will be a definite stop. My husband was so happy to have black eyed peas, a favorite.
I arrived at 3:17pm . Time says they are open till 4pm. Me and another gentleman was told that he was done for the day and had a appointment to attend. ?
Listen, can we please stop calling black owned restaurants southern food. This restaurant, like many others, i.e Texas, looks the part, but has no clue. The food is always bland, no tradition in it. Pork chops too thick and flavorless, instant rice, macaroni soupy, everything overpowered by too much watery gravy. Like I said, it looks southern, but for the taste, you could've gotten a white woman from Russia to cook that and gotten better results. But, the Yams were very tasty.
One can only hope that the absurdities of economics don’t harm this business forcing them to close shop.I’ve been around, and I’ve eaten in many places in the States and abroad, but nothing ever prepared me for the symphony of flavors this food place offers to people.Food is simple yet full of weight, aroma and character. The experience takes you back to great-grandmother’s best cooking. Ron’s might be a modest place to eat authentic family Southern food but believe me people, only an insensitive unlearned palate would complaint about their offerings. Best homemade cooking in ages.
Staff was extremely.Friendly and nice food was out of this world. Amazing soul
