The food and drinks are great, and the prices are reasonable. The location in Lincolnshire is excellent, with top-notch service that is perfect for families.

The service was a bit slow, but we were quickly seated and had water on the table in no time. The food was decent once it arrived, although my grandchild's meal was cold. He didn't say anything though, as he didn't want to delay the meal. The interior was lovely but had a slight smell of dogs (possibly due to the three dogs in the room when we arrived). The staff were friendly.

We went somewhere else and passed on this pub and thought it looked great. the interieur was charming and the menu sound nice but eating was terrible. my companion sent him back, but I was too embarrassed to do the same. the presentation. and the experience are simply a mismatch. service was incredibly slow; we waited for a ridiculously long time before we even got a drink. I usually have a pudding, but we don't have the basis that the main courses were so terrible. I'm afraid we'll avoid this in the future.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at TapHouse Kitchen in the Bailgate area of Lincoln. The rooftop terrace with a view of the cathedral was a delightful spot for lunch and drinks. The service was excellent, the fish sharing platter for two was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant. We also noticed an open kitchen where chefs were preparing food, so next time we will dine downstairs and enjoy a meal prepared in full view. Definitely worth a visit. Signed, Singaporedreamer.
