West Liberty Country Club

Love the new club manager! We had a banquet in their dining room it ran very smoothly. Staff was friendly. Beautiful golf course. Food is great they have been offering more more fun things to do at the clubhouse! If you have time on a Friday night and are looking for a restaurant to try stop out and try one of their Friday night specials!! Great outdoor patio with lighting for those gorgeous days and you want to be outside.

The manager was very unprofessional, sat at the bar and argued with me about the menu and when he looked at the menu and saw that he was wrong he turned back to the beer he was drinking. Had ordered fried mushrooms and pickles, spent almost $8 for 7 mushrooms that were soggy and not cooked all the way the pickles were not cooked all the way either. Very dissapointing

We stopped here for dinner tonight. The outdoor patio is lovely and has a nice view of the golf course. I had the Barnstormer burger, which was tasty, but not as tasty as the huge taco salad that I've had on previous visits. The restaurant is open to anyone, not only members. Good place eat!

The course is certainly not worth the money, falls below the threshold of acceptable even for a small town course. I would go elsewhere with better facilities and a better overall experience. Also, a local old guy plays at the course who has a Hawkeye golf bag and drives his own cart (easy to identify this guy) he is very rude to other players and disrupts play, and his childish behavior should not be tolerated.

Had a gathering of approx 30 people, I had called the week before to give them a heads up that we'd be there. They were very accommodating had a room reserved for us at no cost. The staff was courteous, and always attentive to whatever we needed. Our group decided we'd definetly meet here again!
