Chocolateria San Churro - WEST LAKES

I had a dessert with 5 friends tonight. Firstly they messed up 2/6 orders (putting dark chocolate and ruining someones night when they asked the staff not to put dark chocolate). Then after waiting for cutlery they bring out dirty cutlery with icecream still covering...bits of a knife. After asking them to swap the cutlery we then recieved the same cutlery only it had been rinsed under water, still wet. The strawberry bowl looked like it hadnt been washed either. The strawberries with the fondue were the size of my hand and no knife to cut them with. To eat my meal I was given a full size knife and 1/4 size fork... did not work at all. Will definitely not be returning and telling all I know to not come here.

A really nice place to have a business meeting over coffee and tasty goodies. Free parking in Mall carpark for first 3hrs was good and handy!

We go here once a week for our weekly hot chocolate cappuccino fix. Staff are friendly there's a great vibe in the place, you can eat in or out. This is a dessert cafe there's a good selection on the menu but...it's a bit pricy. The hot chocolate is delicious, very chocolaty you always get a chocolate with your hot drink purchase. Check it out, it's ideal for a special occasion, birthday e.t.c.

The coffee is delicious and the range of sweets omg but every time I have ordered coffee to go, approx 4 times I have had to wait a long time, twice as long as anywhere else. Staff are apologetic but 4 times isn't good enough.

Visited San Churro after seeing a movie at Readings Cinema. Ordered 2 mugs of coffee and 2 New York cheesecakes $30 later!! To add insult to the hit to our wallets the coffee was well below average. The flat white had enough froth to get...it confused with a latte and to top it off the coffee was just bordering on luke warm. I Addressed this with the barista who informed me thats how coffee should be. I appreciate coffee should not be made to high temperatures so the coffee is not burnt, nor should it be made so hot it has the possibility of burning.... But please give me some credit I at least would like my coffee to be hot, not luke warm! When I asked what temperature they make their coffee to, I was informed the jug should be warm to the touch of my hand??? Seriously then why was there a thermometer sitting on the bench?? The cheese cake was hard and unappetising. I have no objection to paying higher than average prices for a quality product. I have been to this San Churro previously and it has always been on the dear side, this was so far below par I would much prefer to now go across the carpark and get a coffee and cake from McDonalds.
