Bidrage med feedbackWe had a great celebratory dinner! Our server, Chris was excellent. Lauren, the manager, made sure to check in on us and make sure we were happy. I cannot wait for my next Ruth’s Chris occasion.
Couldn’t have asked for a better experience celebrating my dad’s 60th birthday. From the drinks and apps at the bar prior to dinner with bartenders Tori and Arden to the incredible private dinner where service was first class with Chris at the helm. The food was top notch and the atmosphere and service were right in line with it. Special shout out to Lauren and Derrick for going the extra mile to make our family feel welcome and my dad feel celebrated. Truly an incredible experience.
Excellent experience! The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. Chris our server and Lauren the manager went out of their way to cater to us. They made our father’s birthday very enjoyable and we will definitely return!
Imagine traveling to Knoxville for FANBOY Expo at the Knoxville Convention Center, and deciding to eat at Ruth Chris restaurant and had a reservation for at least 60 days prior for a BIRTHDAY celebration and the cook serves you a Lobster tail that was obviously cooked prior and re heated up and over cooked to the point of it being dried out and tasting like rubber. The filet migon steak was not prepared as ordered... mashed potatoes were luke warm and the salad was missing the side of boiled egg on one of the salads ordered, and nobody ever came to refill water or refill beverages Sprite Coca-Cola). The server was on point but Ruth Chris in Knoxville was a disaster and a disappointment. On your BIRTHDAY dinner that they were aware from the reservation and it's already a extremely bad experience, but you don't make a fuss because some people will spit in your food... so you deal with it and feel bad that your group that joined you is paying for sub par food that should have never reached my table. I don't know if the cook even cares about how his/her food looks or is prepared when it leaves the kitchen... Won't ever be a next time nor will I suggest that people who regularly frequent Ruth Chris in the city or state that they live in and have good experiences ever bother to waste their time at Ruth Chris in Knoxville, Tennessee. Additionally when you make these observations and take the time to make Ruth Chris aware of your experience in order to do better they NEVER respond nor do they correct the problem. I might have to stop patronizing Ruth Chris... my last bad experience was Ruth Chris in Long Beach, California on Thanksgiving day and got the Thanksgiving meal for $42.00 and sat in the bar area in a single booth...Why did the bartender put extra on my bill because he knew that Icouldn't see small print, but I took a picture with my cell phone and zoomed in on my receipt... the bill was like $78.00 when the Thanksgiving meal was a flat price of like $42.00 including tax I told him/bartender when I was seated that I forgot my glasses and couldn't read small print and if he could refresh me on the beverage choices). The manager just happened to walk by wishing restaurant guests Happy Thanksgiving and I got his attention and said How is my bill $78.00 when set price for the Thanksgiving holiday meal was only $42.00 including tax? The manager corrected the bill, but the bartender was pulling a fast one and kept watching me from a distance to see if I was just going to sign the bill without looking over the bill. On this particular day I didn't have enough cash on me to pay the $42.00 and leave a decent tip so I was going to use my debit card... Usually I go get cash from the ATM and pay cash so that these restaurant staffers are not able to over charge or run my card for an amount that it's correct then I don't have to worry about corrupt acts fraud. Do you think when I contacted Ruth Chris Corporate office about my experience of being overcharged and I definitely have reason to believe it was the bartender trying to take advantage of the situation because he was aware that I couldn't see the menu or small print and figured I would not be able to see the excessive over charge on my bill of nearly $37.00 Nope Ruth Chris NEVER contacted me, and guess what they lost a regular customer at the Long Beach, California location... Ruth Chris do better and respond when customers have a concern or complaints. I figure if they don't care then they don't deserve my business.. I have many choices and I always let others know about good experiences and bad experiences but word of mouth travels and Ruth Chris is not a place that seems to care about their customers or their brand. I give it 12 months they will be closing down restaurants and file bankruptcy because people don't want to take their hard earned money and be treated like this... they will stop patronizing your establishment, and your businesses will go under.
Nothing about this location lives up to the spirit of the Ruth Chris chain. Food was just average service average and experience average. I’m sure there are better options for a higher class dining experience in the Knoxville area.
