Bidrage med feedbackI have always wanted to check this place out, so when I had the chance, I did. This placenreally feels like it stepped out of the past, from the building to the layout. This diner is a true artifact. After entering from one of the two(! enterences, you can choose to sit at a surprisingly comfortable booth or at the ever classic counter. While they have a decent lunch menu, you need to ask for it specifically as they seem to promote their breakfasty foods.I found the bacon cheeseburger to be quite nice and not cooked to a briquet as some places are want to do. The fries were not my favorite style.I was told that the French Toast was not very good. I have nothing to add to that as I did not try it personally. The iced tea was a little disappointing; I suspect they use Lipton tea, which is well known to be one of the worst teas. All in all, I think I would go back and try something else, such as the meatloaf sandwich or Ruben. I also think I'll sit at the counter to check that out.Vegetarian options: As most of their menu is breakfast items, and most breakfast items are not meat, therefore there are a lot of vegetarian friendly items on the menu. Most of the lunch menu is meat based.Dietary restrictions: Talk to your server if you have any dietary restrictions.Parking: They have a small, unpaved lot. Parking is tight. Parking next door might get you towed.Kid-friendliness: Not a bad place to bring the kids, as long as they're not bad kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible. No ramp to enter, and poor parking lot conditions.
It's been around forever. The decor supports that. Tiny little place for great diner fare. Brunch on Sunday will be a wait. First come, first serve. The waitresses know what they are doing! Lunch specials are great too.
Atmospheric was fun and seeing the history of the diner but food was subpar. My husband got steak and eggs and it was hard to eat. I got an omelet special which was good but the potatoes were ok. Glad we went but nothing spectacular.
When you think classic old diner , you 're picturing something like this place. Friendly chatter, good vibes, and good breakfast.
A step back in time, the setting is great the food was great and so was the service. It was my first visit and I could see they had plenty of regulars. The cherry on top was the modestly priced menu. Parking seems limited. Would go
