Bonchon Seven Hills - West Hartford

We visited a Bonchon location out of state years ago and have been dying to go back ever since. Though long overdue, we finally visited the West Hartford location last night, and our experience was just as good, if not better, than we remembered. The batter and sauces on the fried chicken are fantastic, and the chicken itself was so fresh. The salmon avocado ball was delicious, and I can be critical of pork buns, so I ordered them to see how they compared to some of my favorite places. Bonchon nailed them! Flavorful sauces were used, the pork belly was great, and most importantly, the bun was soft and not dry. We tried Bull Dak for the first time and loved it, and of course it?s always fun when it comes in a sizzling hot plate. The bibimbap was tasty as well, and I liked the Bulgogi as a protein choice. Our servers were friendly and attentive, and the location was very clean and modern. I highly recommend checking this Bonchon location out!

I really love the food here! Everything from the ramen with chicken, to the wings, to the veggie potstickers to the japchae! Just delicious food, made fresh. If you get spicy wings or potstickers, just know it is SPICY!! My only complaint is that the waiters are very forgetful and inattentive at times which is pretty annoying, but as far as the food, it is worth a try for sure.

I?m a fried chicken addict and by far, this is the best fried chicken I?ve ever had. Tried both the soy and the spicy but liked the spicy better although both were good. I?m giving it 4/5 just because the side of fries I ordered was prepared in an old oil. It was delicious but had an old oil smell.

Been here once and had a nice time, staff are very friendly! But I?ve ordered from here multiple times because the wings are so tasty! Incredibly crispy; the spicy wings are in fact spicy and the soy garlic flavor wings are so delicious! Also the SIZE of the drums are incredible!! Highly recommend for wing lovers out there!

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT GOOD BONCHONS. This place is ridiculous whoever their cooks are ruin Korean fried chicken. I?ve seen so many people complain and nobody does anything! The strips are not the same as they used to be and all the sauces are extremely salty. Tastes nothing like how it would be in New York or Boston locations. Extremely disappointed in West Hartford and how they haven?t changed after many complaints. And don?t tell me to go to your website resources because I have already expressed my DISDAIN for this location. The pictures below are what the strips used to be at the Manchester location (EXTREMELY GOOD). If you go here, West Hartford), the strips are no longer the same they are more like refrigerated chicken tenders you can buy at Walmart.
