On The Border Mexican Grill Cantina

The food was the usual chain restaurant fare, good, I had no complaints, but not what one could consider a gourmet meal. Above average for OTB itself. The service, however, was exemplary, worthy of a five star restaurant. The server I had, Edith, was attentive and quick to attend to my requests. My order was taken as soon as I was ready, without any hovering, the food came out while it was still hot, my drink was kept filled, and my check was delivered promptly. She was friendly and polite, yet professional. If the rest of the staff is even half as good as Edith was (and they appeared to be), then this may be the best OTB location I've ever visited. I will have to come back the next time I am in town.

Love eating at OTB. My 13 yo loves it too. Food is always good with great flavor and the salsa is my favorite anywhere. I get kinda picky when it comes to salsa because I don't like it chunky. This has the perfect consistentcy and has a bit more spice than other places. Keep up the good work!! By the way the staff is friendly and do a great job.

The food is always hot and tasty! When there has been a problem it has always been taken care of very well. We dined there a couple of days ago,sat in the bar. The Restaurant was not very busy at the time. Our waitress Jamie seemed like maybe she had not been there very long. Although she was very knowledgeable on the menu. She was not very busy so we were given even more attention from her than we normally get there. She was very good and you should give her a raise!!

My family and I absolutely love this place. Everything we have ever ordered from here has always been fresh and delicious. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. This is hands down one of our favorite places to eat at in the west des moines area.

Love to go here for Taco Tuesday! Two tacos are filling. The corn shells are nicely fried and crispy! Highly recommend! With your choice of meat topped...
