Mabel's Barbeque - West Chester

First time having soul food since moving to Chester County 16+ years ago and lemme tell you it didn?t disappoint. You ever love food so much you dance while you eat it? Yeah that?s me and I don?t care who knows. Have a friend in Georgia and finally got to use his phrase. ?Bbq so good make you wanna slap yo mamma!? Mabels coming with that down home southern flavor. 1st , the food was awesome. The fried chicken, brisket, ribs and the collard greens were as good or better than home made. The sweet potato pie was some of the best we've had and the lemon 7 up cake also excellent. 2nd the family atmosphere. How did I not know about Mabels? The ribs were amazing. Best fried chicken around. Collards, fried okra, etc. Plus they now have a lot of room for dine in! We can't wait to go back!

*Takeout Review* Food: 5/5 Hidden Gem in West Chester. This is my first time visiting Mabel's with my girlfriend, but not the first time I've had Soul Food. This is my 1st time here,I'm actually upset that I haven't been here before,since they told me that they have been at this location for 17 years! The ribs fall right off the bone, the sauce is good too. The sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese are delicious. Definitely will be going back!
