Swagat India House

I recently dined at this restaurant for lunch and had a disappointing experience. The price per person was in the $10-20 range, which was reasonable. However, the food, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 1 out of 5. I would not recommend dining here.

Unfortunately I have to adjust my review because this business likes to randomly close with no notice whatsoever. I stopped by several times during regular business hours and the door was locked and the buffet was closed. After one day of the buffet not being ready until 11:40am when you open at 11am and 2 days of being randomly closed, I took my business to a competitor. It's not worth driving over for a meal and being greeted by a locked door during regular business hours.

Food is OK for the buffet. I was there for the lunch buffet. There is almost no service as they were all cooking for take away food. Nobody was looking after the food in the buffet. The place looks like a restaurant in a third world country. You almost feel like you are in a cheap restaurant in India. So if you are India, it may make you feel like you are in India. I paid $15 for a lunch buffet that I consider extremely expensive for the food, service, and atmosphere. I don't recommend going there for lunch buffet, if you are used to higher quality restaurants and food.

We normally do takeout from Swagat and have ordered from them over the past few years. They do a great job around having food ready on time and their staff is usually really helpful and friendly. The spice levels can be a suggestion when ordering for pickup. They serve a ton of food and don't go lightly on the proteins which is very much expected for the price. We keep going back and will continue to. Service: Take out
