The White Horse Of Hermitage

Delighted! Pizzas were great, friendly service and the outside space was brilliant for the kids. Happily recommend to anyone needing an easy space for adults and kids to have lunch.

I would leave 5 star for friendly customer service…… but…… I’m reviewing the food in the restaurant and it is way way way below par! We went for Sunday dinner and what a disaster! The menu (of sorts) was written shabbily on paper and lent on the seats as you entered. The menu had about 3 items but I wouldn’t mind if the food offered was of reasonable quality. It was boring and bland. I felt like the owner had asked his mate to nip down and cook for the day. Very disappointing …. we won’t be returning.

Overnight hotel near by on our way to Southampton cruise port. Traffic on the journey had been terrible and we just needed a meal. Warm welcome, friendly atmosphere and varied menu with some homemade dishes. Excellent value and good portions. This is a local pub and it's a shame we don't live near by, but will return when we are in the area again.

Stopped on our way through to our hotel. What a find excellent friendly staff with food that was beyond belief. Especially for the price
