Mr India - West Berkshire

Ordered online, told food would be delivered in 45/50 minutes. 1hr 30 and food still not arrived. Telephoned and told it was on its way. Arrived after almost 2 hrs! Chicken in Korma definitely old and had been precooked , inedible. All food ordered very greasy and very poor quality. Spent £30 plus a delivery charge! Will definitely not be ordering from here again.

Worst Indian takeaway I’ve had. I have always enjoyed a takeaway from Mr India until last night. 20 minutes after ordering I received a phone call saying they had no prawns or kings prawns left and asked if I wanted chicken in the dansak instead. I said no, and explained I’m pescatarian. They said they could make me a veg curry with peas and carrots instead as I don’t like cauliflower. I declined the option of a pea and carrot curry and ordered an additional side of Tarka daal. When the delivery person arrived about 30 minutes later she gave us the £2.20 difference in price. When opening the order we immediately noticed a rice was missing. We called me India and they were very apologetic and said a rice would be with us soon. I then tried the tarka daal and it was disgusting.The sparse salty lentils were in a cold salty yellow watery sauce. When I described the daal the man on the phone he said ‘sorry I know’ and said he could refund the daal. As it was so late by this point I asked if he could make a dansak without meat and put some potatoes in. He said no problem and it would be with us shortly. My partner started to eat his meal and the saag aloo, Bombay aloo and rice were cold . His chicken madras was really oily and he left most of it. When my order finally arrived I asked the delivery driver if we now had the full order and she said you can check but they are closed now. By now, the original food which had arrived cold was inedible and my partner had finished left his dinner. Mr India had given us an extra portion of cold (room temperature) rice and oily onion bhajis with the second order. The dansak didn’t have any potatoes in and had a spoonful of the sauce with some stone cold sag aloo and left the rest. The whole experience yesterday was a disappointment. I’ve never phoned to complain about a takeaway before but last nights meal was absolutely terrible.

Ordered a takeaway yesterday for the first time. Really cannot fault it, especially the Tandoori mixed grill, which was perfect in every way I can't wait to go back and try many more dishes. The service was very friendly.

Having been told this place had improved, decided to give it a go. Items missing. Food was poor, all salt, no flavour. None of the meat actually marinated just coated. Won't be ordering again.

Excellent Food, Hot, Tasty Expertly Delivered by Just Eat. Vindaloo was extremely nice, as was the chicken Tikka, First time using Mr India as I live in Tadley, But will definitely use again. Well Done Mr India
