Schlossterassen - Wernigerode

Last weekend, when we visited the castle in Wernigerode, we arrived at the Schlossterrassen restaurant. Originally we wanted to take place outside on the beautiful terrace with magnificent views over Wernigerode, but the outdoor area was closed quite timely (about 17.00). Upon entering the guest room, the guest is asked to wait in the entrance area via a sign at the entrance to get a table assigned by the staff. Disinfectants were also present in the entrance area. We haven't waited long and assigned a nice table. The interior of the restaurant is very tastefully decorated - with a kind of winter garden where you sit on a glass front that allows the beautiful view of Wernigerode. The interior is generously designed so that the necessary distances in corona times can be maintained. The offer of food and drinks is not excellent, but completely okay, as well as the prices. It was all clean and tidy, the staff was neither friendly nor unfriendly. All in all, when you visit the castle, you can come here and stay a bit.

Simple reservation, a very nice terrace and a super view. In addition, delicious and rich food. We had our food in 20 minutes. Prices are not very cheap, but reasonable. Very recommended to relax on holiday.

Visited the café on 05.09.20. My better half had sugar. I just asked to go because it was very full. The operation of a Maria. F was more than just accommodating, she ran immediately and brought a cola for my partner. We got another place and ordered ice cream for me and my daughter and a waffle for my partner. The mother cup was more than just filled and not as described below with some hazelnuts, but with different varieties and abundant. My daughter was covered with many smarts and two big iceballs. And my partner's waffle had enough of everything. There was a good tip for Maria, for her understanding that helps people if they have a concern and in general a warm thanks again from us. I cannot understand the people here, the prices are in the normal range, the operators make the best of all the rush of people and if some are stressed, I can understand them. But I also honestly say to many, the sound makes the music, if you are pampered yourself, you don't have to ask yourself. And with us it was also very good with goodness.
