Bidrage med feedbackWe stumbled upon this restaurant off the main drag on our arrival in Wernigerode. We were drawn to it by the imaginative menu offered. Despite being quiet for a Friday evening in peak season, we thought that we would go with our instinct and were glad that we did. The food was well presented and service was great. So much so that we returned again. Vegetarians were welcomed with home made gnochhi being delicious with fresh pesto, pescatarians would enjoy the trout with with fresh salsa and pesto potatos and there was a range for the meat eaters from rabbit to grouse.My husband was delighted by the whisky selection as well as the generous measures served up.Undoubtedly we will return and highly recommend this restaurant,
Nach einer halben Stunde Wartezeit gab es das erste Getränk. Nach über einer Stunde kam die Vorspeise. Suppe war lauwarm und es hatte sich bereits eine Haut gebildet.Rindercarpaccio mit blassem Rucola und ausgetrocknetem Parmesan.Die dann folgenden Ochsenbäckchen waren grenzwertig. Wir hatten den Eindruck, sie waren verbrannt oder zumindest nah dran. Das schlechteste Essen seit Langem.Es gab nur eine Servicekraft, die überfordert war, obwohl das Lokal nur halb voll war. Leider nicht zu empfehlen.
I admit I was only interested in the whisky. They have a significant range which is good. Bit sad they do not have any local whiskies, which are produced not far away.
Gute Küche, die Vielfalt und Abwechslung bietet. Die Bedienung könnte wenigstens bei Stammgästen etwas freundlicher u. emotionaler sein.Es gibt im Bonusheft einen 10 % Rabattgutschein, ist aber auch nicht bei jeder Bedienung bekannt
We came. We liked what we saw. We sat. We waited. And waited. And waited. After 15 minutes or so, we left. Staff were in the kitchen making a lot of noise and we tried to catch their attention but nobody was interested.
