Filterhaus - Werder Havel

As a bridal couple, we were lucky with the filter house as our wedding location. The first contact by phone was already very nice and professional, there almost all corner points were discussed and written down. Mr. Dr.Maywald as host was able to advise us excellently in the menu selection, because our family, friends were international, there were guests from Turkey, Marroko, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Poland and Moldova. So a colourful mix of food. In this respect, a first-class buffet menu was created which reads no wishes openly. From the beginning we felt professionally supervised and advised by the filter house. At the final menu meeting there was a wine tasting to finally meet the selection of wines. Any request by email was promptly responded and as far as possible our concerns were addressed. We were about 78 guests and could have much more from the place offer. What paid for dancing later and we had a great dance floor. The menu was excellent for all our guests and we received only positive feedback. The service personnel were very well placed and our glasses were not empty at any time without which it would have been too urgent. Better our wedding could not have happened and so it remains in more positive and unforgettable. Thanks to the filter house and the entire team from service to the kitchen.

In July 2020 our wedding ceremony took place here. The filter house is very easily accessible, has many parking spaces and an enormously beautiful view. The filter house is a good mixture of industrial modernity. It was very popular with us during the first visit. Beforehand we agreed to an appointment by phone and then met with Fr. L. S. about 9 months before the planned celebration. She has spoken with us very cordially and openly about our wishes, ideas and budget. It was the first advice in a place where you weren't finished as on the conveyor. She was very competent and communicative. Then we booked everything and were happy for the first time. In the further course of the planning, it began to become significantly more difficult because the managing director Hr. M. mixed. Things began to get into wolves. Ms. L.S. could no longer serve us, so our new contact Hr. M. was not only that we were going through many things again, but also that surprises like an additional celebration in the form of 60. Birthday with live band thought on our wedding day, gave us a lot to think. Mr. M. is hard to reach, you need to talk a lot to get a result at all. Unfortunately, he did not remain in agreements, because in the evening before the planned celebration we were told that we were allowed to decorate because otherwise we would not have had time on the day of the wedding (Feier has already begun at 13:00. When we arrived at the evening with many helpers on site, we were first ignored and afterwards we were informed that we must not decorate because 2 guests after 22:00. Now we were allowed to throw everything over the stack and even the table planning was changed in a short time and without our knowledge. Long faces with all involved and a few hours before the wedding. The decoration took beautiful friends from us on the day of the wedding we had to work on. On the day of arrival, Father J.G. greeted us (our event manager, which we were allowed to meet for the first time today. Nevertheless, she was an angel and saved us the day. In itself the entire staff (until Hr. M. is absolutely professional, nice, accommodating, fast lonely tip. The celebration went smoothly, the food was gigantic, Koch Max and his crew are magicians. Our guests and we are still swarming from the wedding menu today. Even after a few hours and rising level, the team from the filter house was still funny and fulfilled every wish. The filter house is a real enrichment for the town of Werder. Finally, an unusual and extravagant map that is affordable and offers many varied dishes. In addition to the extraordinary ambience directly on the water, the staff is extremely friendly and also makes a joke with the guest. So that's really recommended.

Very delicious and fresh food. Beautiful location with beautiful operation. Despite the upscale kitchen pleasant atmosphere, which also very child-friendly. The menu was clear and the offer was not too small. The dishes were delicious. Despite this, the waiting time, even for a large group that you would like to serve at the same time, was too long. In addition, it is not acceptable for a good restaurant to have no sweet potatoes and majo at noon. Otherwise, it is a chic building and nice staff.
