El Agave Mexican - Wentzville

The prices at this restaurant have gone up a bit. The food I ordered was served warm. Considering they weren't busy, the service should have been impeccable. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations.

Good food is missing a little spice to make it great. Not that it needed to be spicy, but only had not much og taste. Chicken Fajita Chimi.

Wonderful service. The server was friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. We really liked the atmosphere. It was relaxed and inviting. The food was hot and tasty. I had the carnitas. I'm a carnitas snob and prefer it to be dark meat to light, but it wasn't cooked to death or bland, so I still enjoyed it. I will try other foods there next time I go and there will certainly be a next time!

I ordered the enchiladas and found the tortillas to be dry and tough. The manager greeted us as soon as we walked in. However, when we requested a table further from the kitchen to avoid the noise, he appeared visibly upset.

This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and I really enjoyed the salsa and chips. The chips were a bit thick for my liking, but they were okay. We only ordered the nachos Supreme, which were delicious. This is all I can comment on for now, but I will definitely be returning. I apologize for forgetting to take a picture of the nachos because I was too hungry!
