Bidrage med feedbackWe got an evening meal for two, including spring rolls and egg rolls, crispy beef and Heimi foo young. All fresh and delicious, came with white rice. The household waste for egg rolls was unexpected (usually it is only these small plastic packages) and excellent, but very hot (as I like it).
I love the service and the speed. Always ready within 15 minutes from the call. And that made to order sushi is my favorite where around here! So much better than the eastern restaurant. Unlike the east, her pork is not only fat and undercooked. I recommend maple leaves
The pan-fried noodles with chicken, beef, and shrimp, accompanied by broccoli, water chestnuts, and a delicious sauce, are fantastic. This place is not your typical strip mall Chinese take-out. Before the pandemic, it was a bustling sit-down restaurant offering both Chinese and Japanese cuisine. The portions are quite generous. If you plan to order takeout to enjoy at your motel, be sure to request utensils!
Now, here’s a little story: I found myself unable to gather food during the recent blizzard. Early in the morning, I ventured out to the local general store, which was surprisingly still open despite the thick snow. As dinnertime approached, I started to wonder if I could find something to eat. I trudged through the dazzling snow with no one else on the street except for a few snowplows. After a struggle to get out of my neighborhood and onto the main road, I felt a glimmer of hope and continued on. However, everything was dark. There were no lights, no open signs—nothing. Driving through downtown Kennebunk, I noticed people inside The Blue Coffee Shop, so I parked my car in the snow and bravely went inside to check it out. To my dismay, it turned out to be a private event, and their "closed" sign was posted on the door. What a disappointment! I felt like I had struck out, but I didn't give up; I kept going and got my car out of the snow to head to Wells. Unfortunately, everything else was closed. After much searching, I was ready to give up when I spotted Maple Leaves Garden. The open sign was brightly lit, and I could see the cook inside! I took a deep breath, navigated through the snow, and walked in. The owner was pleasantly surprised to see a customer and I promptly ordered Chicken Mai Fun. I waited about five minutes in the lobby, and when my order was ready, I was warmly wished a safe journey home as I left. I thanked them for being open during such a challenging time. I made it back home safely, despite the slick roads and icy conditions. In summary, the folks at Maple Leaves Garden really come through for you when you need it most. The Chicken Mai Fun was a large portion and incredibly delicious! Well done!
The restaurant wasn't very crowded during my visit. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes were quite generous.
