Bitter End - Wells

Rustic place that is eat-in or dine outside restaurant. A little wait but, it is that time of year. Had the parmesan fries to start. The salad and main entree were good. Enjoyed the drinks. Liked the old pane windows and retro decor. Will try to dine outside next time. Waitress very attentive and friendly.Food: 4/5

What a great place! We’ve been coming here on our annual vacation since they opened. It’s always a memorable evening. The food is excellent (probably the best in the area) and the outdoor area amazing to just sit and have a drink.We stayed after for evening cocktails and to watch the live band, Ben Baldwin, play. The duo really made the evening!

Great place for lunches, we brought our two yorkies with us to the picnic table outdoors and had a pretty good meal. Nice atmosphere.

Bitter End was a pleasant surprise!! My husband and I live locally and wanted to sit outside for dinner, away from the congested areas of Wells. He likes seafood, I do not. The outside seating was comfortable and fun. We ordered chicken tequitos to start and they were super flavorful and fresh. The service was fast and very friendly. He ordered a seafood dish that he loved and I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with fries and coleslaw which was delicious.For dessert, we tried the blueberry crumble with vanilla ice cream. The crust was the perfect consistency, and the blueberries were a perfect match with the ice cream. We will be back!

GREAT atmosphere outside, will go back just for that!! Classic Mussels weren't seasoned enough, tasted like watered down broth, needed more garlic and herbs. The spinach salad was delicious. Nice variety.
