Am Stockske - Wegberg

Enter the restaurant around 19.45 in 9 people without reservation. tables almost empty, but we were told that they were completely booked and we couldn't get out. in the following 30 minutes no more people came to the restaurant. very rude behavior.

Do not look further when they are looking for great food. that is as local as it becomes. they will experience some old pictures of the opposite in a totally dark look.

I was looking to eat somewhere in the mountains while I was staying in town. I had read previous reviews of this bar and I was not disappointed, the portioning sizes were good, an enormous scavenger, with fries and a teller salat, very filled. the beer was also good, try malzbier, I like it. the service was excellent and I could on my limited german without problem it was so good when I came back in the first night. if there is a group of them, I would suggest booking a table especially at the weekend. highly recommended and if I'm back in the mountains, I'm back.

Excellent! great eating and beautiful selection of drinks, really good value for money and atmosphere! the owner is very friendly and speaks English.

Lived in Wegberg for about 10 years and every time we visit it feels so special. The menu is a little bit restricted and It believe it does the place an justice. The complementary bread dripping and salad feel like a meal on their own....All the main courses are of a large portion but a really good quality. The only negative is if you change a choice within your meal you pay the same price as an extra portion not a change. We have taken dozens of friend to this restaurant and not a single complaint. If you are near Wegberg this is a must.
