Gasthaus Waldkater - Wedemark

We were a party of 6 and just enjoyed the horse race in Hanover. We arrived at 4:00 and sat inside. Many articles to choose from. They were, however, from pifferlings. the items we choose were all very good, especially the...Turkey strips with the salad. Nicely seasoned and the dressing was very delicious.

Last Saturday I was invited to brunch at the waldkater inn and was very impressed by the facilities offered here, but then the brunch and disappointment began. At €20 per person I would have expected a larger selection of food!... The cook (the Asian orgin came to fill the bowls and did not seem too interested in anything. The horror of this brunch was when I wanted to eat a slice of Bergamokase to discover that it was cumbersome on one side! The drinks prices also let me wait until I came home to clear my thirst. Normally, when I'm on brunch, I'm going to leave myself full and need a nap, but on this occasion I leave hungry (a first from my point of view it's not necessary to put up with bad food in Hanover because it's so big brunch sites to discover! A friend and I came to the evening in August and were really satisfied at the venue, service and selection of dishes. We decided to eat on the terrace restaurant instead of the burger and sausage bar and were impressed by the choice of dishes...available. We had drinks, appetizers and nets and the bill was appropriate for such a pleasant venue with a really helpful waitress. I like the forest restaurants and bars in Germany as they always have a good atmosphere.

We were there with friends for dinner. the staff was very friendly and we didn't have to wait very long. the food was delicious and the portions quite large.

We wanted to give the forest cat a chance again. in the beer garden you can sit well, in drinks and bratwurst you can not do much wrong. but if you decide for the restaurant (with quite high praises and high demands), you quickly make bad experiences. so unfortunately again yesterday. we 2 young families with 2 small children who have hunger. we order 1 appetizer, 4 main dishes, 1x pommes extra. after 1 hour the suppe comes, after another half an hour also finally the main dishes. only unfortunately completely wrong. not one was right and there were only 3. thready escapes and declarations that we would have ordered wrongly or the kitchen has done something wrong, and the tries to pluck up the three wrong eating after plentiful theater came about. 10 min later eat 3 correct food and the pommes for the kids. on a dirty dish. excuse: it is not dirty, only used by the kitchen. eating was okay, but not worth the high price. the carving was too thick, the pommes did not season. the salate very small. when we wanted to pay, the service would like to meet us with the drinks, but even with it she had charged herself and she could not get it out. achja: the ec card reader did not go, unfortunately we only learned this when paying. also unprofessional. yes it was a lot to go (in the garden), but the restaurant was only clearly filled. for us, it was unfortunately very disappointing again.
