Bidrage med feedbackGood food! There's no menu board, so you're poring over a paper leaflet at the counter. Not terribly personable, but good fast tasty food we both enjoyed...
Had lunch here, tiny place however, the food was very good. The portions were very large and the price was very reasonable. The service was good and friendly for counter style service. I would come back again.
FOOD: <br/ I had settled on the Chicken Breast Kabob with rice), which included boneless chicken breast, marinated in seasoning, served with salad and naan. My husband settled on the Mazari Kabob with rice), which included a combination of lamb chop and lean ground beef Shamie kabob; his dish was also served with salad and naan. My dish was quite large, with a large portion of rice on one side, with the chicken breast served on a skewer on-top of the rice. The salad was on the other side of the dish, and included a tomato, cucumbers, and dressing mixed-in. The naan was served on the side in a basket, and it was quite large, with seeds on-top, with it being very hot temperature-wise) and crunchy, just the way I like it. The chicken breast was one of the best I had ever tasted; it was moist and juicy, and not burnt or dry as it is quite often at other establishments). It slid off of the stick easily, and melted quickly into my mouth. The salad was also good, fresh and leafy, just the way it should be. I don’t know what they put into the rice but it was absolutely divine! There was so much of it that I had leftovers, and ended up eating it for lunch the next day. Also, I had asked for a side of white sauce, which was kindly brought to me in a small container. There was also a small container of cut-up tomatoes and spices which I didn’t eat as it was a bit too spicy for me. <br/ <br/ ATMOSPHERE:<br/ The restaurant is quite small, with only about eight to ten tables, and a very airy middle area in front of the cash register. There was also a large counter at the front, and a long hallway which led to the washrooms in the back. There was a TV on the wall although it wasn’t on when we were there. The restaurant is small but comfortable, with many chairs being available when we were there.<br/ <br/ SERVICE: <br/ There were two young men behind the counter when we had ordered. Once our order was ready, one of the men called us from the counter, with him putting our plates on a tray for easy transport to the table. I had then gone up to the counter to ask about getting some extra sauce, at which point, the man gladly said yes, then brought it to our table. We found the young men to be shy, yet polite when we asked for something.<br/ <br/ COST: <br/ Chicken Breast Kabob With Rice) $10.75) Mazari Kabob With Rice) $14.95) $29.00 <br/ <br/ WOULD YOU RETURN? <br/ Without a doubt! For the amount and quality of food, we were highly-impressed with this establishment. It was one of the best kabob restaurants that we have ever been to, and will surely let everyone know about it!
Quick service. The food was fresh and lip smacking good. The white and red sauces are cherry on top. If you haven’t tried this place yet, I will 100% recommend you give it a try.
The food here is decent! It’s not the best Afghan food and it’s surely not the worst. We tried the beef, chicken and Chapli Kebabs which were delicious. The rice was a bit over cooked but it’s okay. The salad was very fresh. Overall the experience was good! Will surely be back to try other stuff on the menu.
