Mona's Kitchen - Wawa

The food is good (fries a bit over cooked and oily), but the fact that the owners are so rude makes the whole experience less enjoyable. Mona was complaining that we took ketchup for 5 people. We ordered over $70 of food and she wasn't willing to provide another container to make it more convenient for us. I won't be going there again.

I was initially attracted by the funky appearance of this restaurant as my wife and I drove down the main street. The line at the window convinced me to stop and see what it was all about. The patio seating on a sunny summer day was too enticing to pass up. The prices were fair, service was relatively quick, the food was fantastic, and the portions were enormous. I ordered a large poutine, which was enough to feed an army. Unless you have the appetite of the Incredible Hulk, I recommend getting the small size.

I was unsure of where to eat in Wawa, so I decided to try Mona's as soon as I arrived in town. The service and conversation were excellent. I ordered the small Poutine, and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size, which was larger than most other restaurants. I highly recommend paying them a visit while in Wawa.

The portions at this restaurant are very generous and reasonably priced. I ordered the small Poutine, which was incredibly filling. My husband had a bacon burger and small fries, but neither of us were able to finish our meals because there was so much food.
