Bidrage med feedbackThe food was really great. No issues with the quality of anything shown here. The Brussels sprouts were great, with a nice complimentary sauce. The beer batter was nice, crispy and light. The fried chicken, smothered with a Cajun sauce, shrimp, artichoke and sausage was great! It was slightly too salty for me, but eaten with the beans and mashed potatoes it was great. Nice heat. The restaurant is big, with a variety of places to sit. It would benefit from some renovation, cleaning and lighting improvements.
The good: it is so pretty when you first walk in, our server was beyond amazing, the pot pie was one of the best we've ever had, the smothered chicken was pretty good too. The bad: we were sat at a pretty dirty table adjacent to the bar where an employee (I'm assuming off the clock) was sitting and having a few drinks while video chatting on and off in between watching videos on her phone with the volume full blast.. it was so loud it could be heard from anywhere in the room.. it definitely took away from our experience and other tables as well.
Visiting Wisconsin for a week and this weekend place had great food, got the brisket tacos that were better than Mexican town in Detroit. Our server was so nice she brought us waters as soon as we sat down, treated us greatly. And the beer was tasty. Fast service. If I come back to this area I will be here faster than you can say ?where should we eat?
We?re there about an hour from closing. The service was great. The waitress friendly and attentive. Food arrived fast. Rueben was good. Sauerkraut seemed authentic. The bread wasn?t toasted as much as I would have liked. The meatloaf had an odd flavoring seemed like thyme or rosemary. Not the best. It was ok but we wouldn?t order it again. Seemed dry. Potatoes seemed tasteless. The French onion soup was amazing. Very flavorful. Salad was good too. I asked for blue cheese dressing but they didn?t have any. They did have the Gouda dressing. Again, an interesting flavor. Wouldn?t order again. The menu was a good selection. We will definitely stop by again. It?s a nice Irish pub type atmosphere.
Good food, great prices, ok beers, friendly and efficient wait staff. The waitress was fantastic. There were 10 of us, and she was a champion. She let us each have individual bills with no problem whatsoever. The food and beers took a while to get to us, but it was busy, and she 's had to put our orders in separately, so it 's understandable. Not her fault at all. On to the food. Ordered a flight of beers. IPA, Uber Bock, session IPA, Stout, Porter, and scotch ale. The top 3 in my opinion were the session, scotch ale, and Uber Bock. The rest were mediocre. I suggest looking up reviews on Untappd to get a gauge if how their beers rate with the masses. I found the reviews to be spot on. For food, I had cheese curds as an appetizer, and Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. The cheese curds were good, served with ranch I believe. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich had a light, thin breading. It 's not hot. Not even remotely hot really. Tastes good though. Comes on a fantastic toasted brioche bun, I believe it was. The bun was the best part in my opinion. The food was 'good ' in general. It was good to try the place.
