Daly's - Wausau

My wife and I went to Ciao last night for our Anniversary. The place is amazing and the food was beyond amazing!! The staff was so polite the entire time!! Way to go Chef Adam We had an appetizer and dessert, they were awesome!!

I have eaten here twice and both times have been complete 10/10 experiences. First meal was on valentines day. I was late to the game and made reservations at the last second expecting nothing but they made us a table which was awesome! Our server (forgot his name, sorry) was so friendly and even though this is a newer place with rotating specials, knew the menu like the back of his hand. Everything was delicious but the oysters and burrata were a standout! Everything we ordered from apps to the delicious drinks were flawless. The chef’s brother has been present both of our visits and is literally the nicest person ever! He makes guests feel like family. Our second visit was for the sandwich shop for lunch. They give you restaurant service at deli prices! They served us a free sample of some delicious deli meat (Boar’s Head IYKYK) and made it feel upscale. The place was nearly empty for lunch so if you haven’t tried it, you need to! I love this restaurant and the staff is next level good all around. 10/10, this place is ran with expertise and class.

Ciao is wonderful. Fresh pasta. Bolognese was amazing. Amanda our server was entertaining, informative and attentive. Wow. Don’t go because there won’t be space for me. Outdoor dining just makes it better.

Best restaurant I have ever ate at, hands down. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ciao to anyone. I will be back any time I am in Wausau. Wish you could give more than 5 stars cause this place is worth it!!

There aren't a lot of places for good Italian food in central WI, so this was a welcome surprise. Food was excellent from appetizers through dessert, with good cocktails and wine as well. Service was good as well our waiter was very pleasant and gave us recommendations throughout our meal. Definitely one of the best meals we have had in the area, and up there with some of the best Italian we've had anywhere. Will definitely be back!
