City Grill - Wausau

My original review was not favorable. City Grill responded and asked for a second chance. I am so happy I agreed. Today I had a wonderful lunch experience. The food was delicious. However, the standout was our server Drew. He was attentive and polite. The timing of our meal was spot on. I was surprised to discover this was his 3rd day on the floor. Awesome job! Original review: My meal was wonderful, although others at my table had issues with their food. Our server was horrible in service and attitude. When you charge the prices we paid, it is for the entire experience.

The best crab cakes in town! In love with the new menu! Ostrich filet was exquisite! Scallops were heavenly! Summer daisy cocktail was to die for and the service was top notch! Can't wait to try out the rest of the new menu. Bravo!

Went to the City Grill Wausau 1/6/18 for lunch with my niece, the food was Great and the atmosphere was very comfortable. The staff was excellent, even the chef had time to come out and say Hello.

City Grill holds fond memories and good times. I particularly enjoy the ambiance and, as a Chicago restaurant critic used to say, 'circuses. ' We have had wonderful meals, great service, but we have also had a couple of experiences we wished we hadn 't. No place is perfect. Give it a try--we will, too!
