La Estacion is a hidden gem. Situated in an old train station (hence the name La Estacion), the restaurant is huge and even includes seating in an old train car. I don't know anyone who hasn't gotten a kick out of that. The food is good. An extensive menu, including some more traditional Mexican dishes and to-die-for desserts. And last, but not least, is the margaritas!

Awesome local restaurant with phenomenal food and amazing service! I went earlier in the day (before noon). Amazing art throughout the restaurant and very clean!

The food at la estacion will likely never disappoint t you. They’ve got a phenomenal array of dinners to choose from. I e seen their Sunday brunch setup but never made it in time but it’s on my list. My husband gets the chimichangas every single time we go, he loves them. You get three of them in the meal he licks and you can choose a different meat for each one if you’d like. I like to try something new almost every time I go. Todays choice was the bistec a la mexicana. It had just the right amount of kick without being overwhelming and plenty of flavor. The only thing about them is it’s not speedy…don’t go here if you’re looking to get in and out fast because it likely won’t happen. But that’s not really the point of la estacion either…you go, you eat, you drink, you mention how full you are while still shoveling food into your mouth, and loving the amazing Hispanic food in front of you. Definitely give this place a chance!

Went in on a Saturday night at 7pm with our 3 small kids. We had Javier as our server in own train car with very few other people. Food was excellent as well as the atmosphere. But Javier was the best. He played trains sounds for the kids and kept them engaged during the meal by making jokes and making it all around a great experience. Will definitely be going back and requesting Javier!! Edited to add that the bob marley margaritas were amazing too!!
