Barn Town Brewing - Waukee

Freaking amazing! I have the chicken ornaments that are the best in the area, and now I think I have one of the best burgers with an amazing Bretzel bread and Speck Marmelade! Did I mention the Pommes? This place hand cuts their fries daily and they are made to perfection! Not in Pommes? No worries get their max and cheese! You won't regret it!

Great atmosphere. A nice children's menu, here's something for everyone. The cotton candy sour beer is in my book Top-Notch.

Great atmosphere, great beer and good food. I had the burger of the month that was the Glazed State Fair Burger. This was a perfectly boiled burger with fried jalapeños and glazed donuts as the rolls, it was absolutely amazing. I washed it with a Slim Shandy and an Iowa Gold Ale.

Great service! Can't say much for the beer because I didn't try anything, but the food I tried was pretty good! I had the Crab Rangoon Fried Chicken with Fritten. The chicken was excellent! Very juicy. The Pommes were also pretty good. Not the best at all, but very far from the worst with some crunch. The frits came with a pretty standard ranch diving sauce. I also tried the BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauce was honey-based with some spice on it. I'd get it back! I tried her root beer too. It was rather a soft vanilla taste. I prefer more of a bite so it wasn't my favorite, but still really good for a root beer. All in all, I would recommend Barn Town Brewing for her fried chicken and decent beer varieties.

Super cute place, most staff seemed friendly. Food wasn?t great though. Not much flavor in anything. We ordered the Mac and cheese skillet w/ grilled chicken pretty bland and poorly presented when you?re choosing it for a whole meal. The brawts weren?t great and two of the three were cold. Did drink the Peach and Chong beer and was fantastic, wanted a four pack to go but they were out.
