La Potosina - Watseka

I love La Potosina! It’s my new favorite restaurant in Watseka and Iroquois County! The food is excellent, and although the service is sometimes slow, everyone is super friendly. The only thing that I think would make the restaurant better is if they had live music on a regular basis. It’s still the best salsa anywhere in town and I will probably continue to eat there at least twice a month. Vegetarian options: If you are vegetarian or vegan, ask for avocado tacos. Just remind them not to put the cheese on the beans if you are vegan.

It has been 2 or 3 years since ŵe last ate there. The food was much better then, I would give it 5 back then. I had chicken fajita, I thought it came with it, it did not. The fine print said it was .50 cents more, I would have paid that. I also asked if it came with torteas and the waitress said yes but I had to ask for them after my food came and they were not free. Refried beans were also extra. The chicken was really tastless, even hot sauce didn't help. The tomatoes and green peppers were cut very large The tomatoe still had the part that connects to the stem. My wife had steak over rice, she said it was good. I tasted a piece and was jealous. Lunch was 35.00, I think we'll try the Chinese buffet next time.

The food here was terrible. The rice was so dry like it was from days ago. The steak on my tacos and torta were chewy, burnt, and huge pieces.

The food was absolutely horrid. They did not listen to what I wanted. I did not get stuff that I ordered yet. I’ve still paid for it and they never took it off the bill when I complained. Waitress was horrible never came back to refill. Our drinks never checked in with us.

I called in an order to go for 3 dinners. Lady answers phone and I started telling her what I wanted, she then started to take someone else's order while I was trying to give her mine. So I stopped talking and let her finish what ever she was doing, then she said ok you go ahead, I asked her if she was talking to me , after a minute she said yes you go ahead. That was very rude of her to do..my order better be correct
